Identifying the Design Principles

The first step was to make a list of 26 leading architects of the world (alphabetically) followed by in-depth research. After I finalized my list, I started looking at their work for which helped me understand their ideologies and visual language.

DEVELOPING FORMS

The next step was to develop a typographic language, a letterform after every architect that has been developed based on his/her design principles. It was important to establish a distinct and consistent visual language to convey different messages from the same community.

telling the story

The final phase of the project is telling the entire story in the form of a tribute. The final outcome of the project was in the form of a print and digital publication which was a collection of quotes by each of these architects by accompanied by their letter forms that illustrated their design principles using simple geometric forms.
