index

“Index” is a project that tells the story of urban life “visually.” It is a collection of visuals from a magazine - “Real Simple” in New York that taxonomically explores the interconnectivity between words and pictures. We all know that a picture is worth a thousand words, but this is an attempt to associate a single word with a multiple pictures.

STEP 1: Collect

The first step was to chop, cut and explore the anatomy of the visual content of the magazine to identify keywords and visuals that belong together.
