SUMMER INTERNSHIP 2019

EnergySage is a clean energy startup in Boston, MA. Focusing on solar education and connecting active solar shoppers with pre-screened solar installers, EnergySage is the driving force for solar adoption across the United States.

I worked here as a UI/Visual Design Intern from June - August 2019 for their summer internship program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design graphics for Learn Content Page on ES website

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, marketers and other business team members to assess new project scopes, define goals, and find creative solutions to design challenges while meeting deadlines.

  • Blog graphics 

  • Update and design new CTAs

  • User Research for designing new webpages

  • Other miscellaneous design assistance to the team.

process

When content came into the design team from the marketing team, my first step was to read through all the content and understand the concepts of solar power. It helped me understand the scope for the requirement of simplified infographics to improve the overall viewing experience for the users of the website.

In addition to these, I also designed some weekly blog graphics and time based data visualizations for our users , a collection of which has been displayed below.
